I didn't know where to post this so here I go:

Since I was little, my dream was (aside from my job) I would build a safe place for children and teenagers without parents or difficult households (?).

I love the idea of giving a young person a future and help them get through rough times. Everyone deserves a chance.

Anyways, we were talking about our goals and when my turn came, some people laughed at me. Apparently it is a bad/unrealistic idea...

I have been thinking about it and would like an opinion about it. Is it an unrealistic idea?

It sounds amazing!! I want to create a place like that for teens with mental health problems to get a break away from home and the stresses of their lives for a bit - just wouldn't have a clue where to start hahah! I don't think it's unrealistic, you would just have to devote your whole life to it and be incredibly patient and dedicated
