Last year I had an operation to remove an ectopic pregnancy which really put a downer on me and had to have 2 and a half weeks off for the recovery side of things as my job is strenuous and I have to run around half of the time. I've had a letter saying I have a meeting for unsatisfactory attendance and 10 of those days was due to my operation, which I had proof of as I gave them my sick note and my discharge letter to PROVE I was admitted to hospital on a certain date a week before I could give them my sick note as my doctor wouldn't issue it until after 7 days.
I am petrified I could lose my job. I rarely called in sick, only for sickness and diarrhea for 3 days because of food poisoning and 1 occasion where I was feeling really depressed and down and couldn't get myself out of bed but that was it. I am really annoyed about this

Don't worry, it's probably just a misunderstanding and confusion of paperwork. If you have filed all that you said you have, all will come to light, just go to this meeting and listen to what they have to say; explain your side, and all should be fine
