    Hey, Im going dmu in september and studying criminology and criminal justice at newarke point. My course starts on the 26th, When does freshers start so I can prepare myself :P

    Usually a week beforehand. Check the SU facebook etc. they'll give you all the information you need.

    If you're already looking to prepare yourself for freshens week I recommend http://www.fancyfresher.co.uk?affiliates=37 , they have loads of costumes and themes to choose from (: also good if you end up joining a society

    Hey there,

    Firstly, let me introduce ourselves. We are De Montfort Students' Union. We're run by students and for the students of DMU, so all of your sports teams, societies and your Freshers Week is done by us.

    We've decided to create this account to make sure we get in touch with as many DMU students as possible before they arrive, so if you've got any questions, just let us know.

    Now, onto Freshers- Freshers' Week starts on Friday 19th September with the DSU Welcome Weekend and finishes on Sunday 28th September. The schedule for the events will be released very soon so keep your eyes peeled.
