differentiation of composite functions

Hi all, I have the following question:
Given that g is a differentiable function and k is a real number, the derivative of the composite function
given by: g (e^kx) is.........

The answer given is: kg' (e^kx)e^kx
Just not sure how they got this. I might be getting confused with product rule

Think about the definition of the chain rule.
