Fractured 5th Metacarpal

Did it at karate. Hit awkwardly and it just fractured.

In a plastercast for a month. I can't work at all during this time which worries me as I'm losing a major source of funding...as in my only source.

Also, I've worked 5 days a week during hols. |I'm gonna be so bored now... Suggestions on what to do?

Anyone else had this fracture before? How was it afterwards?

Thats so unlucky, I would be gutted if I couldn't work for the rest of the summer because i really need the money. But you can always go out with your friends more now, i guess ... :dontknow:

Nope. Houly paid employees don't get sick pay.

They all work...plus going out costs money. Me and a friend are spending all day at Starbucks on Thursday so she can write my homework for me...

Ha at least something good comes out of it. But not everything costs money you just have to be a little creative ... or failing that you could just see if your parents will give you any money by going with the whole sympathy thing :biggrin:
