    All,

    Had my tattoo for around 5 months now (had a shading touch up in Late April/May), and was just wondering (and this is probably going to sound incredibly daft, but whats your after aftercare for yours?

    I've noticed that the black shading has become patchy in areas (not bad enough where you can see the skin clearly, but it is noticeable (I will try and post pictures).

    I do work in Air Traffic Control and due to the greenhouse esq' workplace, I have noticed that my tattoo has tanned, however there's only so much I can do about that, as we need the windows to see and can't have the shutters down unless the sun is in our faces. That's another story..

    Can I gently scrub it with a flannel in the shower? I know whilst healing this was not allowed due to scabs etc etc, but what about after healing as I do tend to get little whiteheads over my arm (where my Tat is).

    Can I use Showergel to clean it with? I've been using it for the last months so I've probably answered my own Q, but does it have anything in it which could fade a Tat?

    I'm probably being over OCD (which I've more than likely got), but I paid enough for it, so im desperate to keep it in the best poss condition!

    To summarise can I;

    Gently scrub it with a flannel whilst showering, scrub it dry with a towel after showering (ive been patting it dry most of the time)?
    Use showergel on it?

    Thankssss
