A few months ago I had a one night stand with a guy. We ended exchanging numbers but I didn't expect to hear from him again but then he added me on facebook and then we begun texting.

We ended up sleeping together regularly which was fine by me and I assumed it was just going to be casual fun seeing as I am (or was) a third year and getting ready to graduate and he's only going into his second year. However, one time when we went home together after a night out and I made a joke about how it was a prolonged one night stand and he said he didn't want it to be a one night stand and he liked talking to me.

I will be going back to university in September as I have been accepted to do a Masters, which he knows about. When we left for the summer I wasn't expecting to speak to him again except maybe as a hook up but we have been talking. Now I'm not unsure as to whether he does actually want more than sex and I'm just looking for opinions on that and whether a postgraduate and a second year could actually work.

I'd ask him outright if he wants a relationship - if he does - and, most importantly, if you do- I think a relationship could work
