Should I resit the year or just modules? Watch

    • Thread Starter

The subjects that I just finished the AS exams for are Maths, Physics, Economics and IT. I'm interested in computer science and electrical engineering at University the requirements for those at University of Leeds being AAA.
I don't think i can meet those grades however because i wasn't very focused during the exam period an I think that I probably failed Maths which is a requirement for these courses.

    My grades will likely be:
    Economics:A/ B
    IT : B
    Physics C/D
    Maths: E/U

I would like to drop physic next year but my 6 form is very strict in not letting you carry on with subjects that you have failed so I may have no option but to drop maths. I can however easily get an A in IT and Economics but the third one will be very difficult.

What do you guys think I should do?
    - Resit the year in a different 6 form.
    - Resit Modules in the same 6 form risking being forced to drop maths.
    - Resit modules and move 6 forms ( I don't really know how this would work with IT coursework and exam boards).

I really don't have much time to apply so any responses would be appreciated. Thanks.
