Yes but the procedure can vary depending on the bank you are with.
Generally go into your bank online page and sign in, I am with Natwest so I would go to nwolb.com. then sign in and then go to payments or transfer and then set up a new payee, where you enter the person name, sort code and account number. However, for new payee you may need a card reader so they know that you are authorising the payment.
So in that case it may be easier to go to the bank.
    Hope that helps.

Also do you have a card reader? Is the transfer urgent as a card reader would take a few days to be delivered but can be really useful if you ever need to make transfers online. Otherwise go into the bank with the details to a teller and they will be able to arrange the transfer and it will be done relatively quickly.
