Help!

ok this maybe slightly long so i'm sorry.
I started talking to this guy from collage alot over msn and texting, we eventually decided to meet up and i had a great time. The trouble was he is going to uni very soon a long way away and i didnt want to go out with some body who i hardly saw. He wasnt very happy about it, but we still carried on talking alot which was nice.
Anyway i then sort of got involved with another guy but that stopped and then me and guy A decided to meet up again but just as friends. We have tried to meet up a few times but each time he has an excuse.... not a crappy one but a good one and i believe him.
But some people think he is messing me around a bit like i did to him. I have asked him if he is and each time he says no he really likes me and wouldnt do that, trouble is i'm starting to like him to but dont want to get messed around!
Do you think he is messing me around? :confused:

he is so lovely and i really dont believe he would do this!
Any advice or opinions would be brill.

I'd knock it on the head if I were you. He'll be going away to Uni very soon, so really - whats the point?

i no we talked about it before and he said he would amke it work and come down lots.
To be honest i'm not too worried about that as something may not even happen between us! I just dont want to be messed around. :confused:

It sounds like, he was into you, but then you told him you weren't interested enough for a long distance relationship and you went off with someone else. So he's probably just feeling upset/hurt and is finding it hard to trust you?

yep i see what you mean, but i have made it totally clear to him that we are just going to be friends and he doesnt have any clue that i'm starting to like him. He knows that i want to meet up with him and get to know him.
i'm not sure if its a trust problem?

well he is probably a little hurt that you don't want to go further which is understandable considering he is going to uni soon, but there's no reason why you can't still be friends at least even when he goes to uni

Yeh i can see he woudl be hurt but he has said to me that its up to me to decide and i havnt said something will def not happen.

I'm pleased someone said about staying friends even when he is at uni, i really want to do this even if nothing does happen
