    I don't think so although it would be courteous to advise your current supervisor of your intentions. It's quite normal for interns to end up in a different area to the one they interned in but it's worth talking to your supervisor to demonstrate you appreciate the experience you are getting and that you value their guidance.

    At the same company? Doubt they'll even notice before you've left but carries a small risk. At a different company, no problem at all

    Yes it is the same company. It's a big 4 company so I'm hoping they won't notice. Thanks for the reply
