I will be applying to uni in October and just wondered if any past/present/prospective students had an opinion on E&M at Oxford vs Economics at LSE ?
Areas to consider
Courses - I feel I'm strong both mathematically and literacy wise, so although I am a bit afraid of econometrics and uni maths I should be able to cope but also would like the written aspects of E&M
Environment - it would be hard to decline an Oxbridge offer if I was so lucky, but to a certain degree LSE is more at the forefront of research? And I'm not sure if I can afford to live in London (another fear of LSE)
Careers - when pursuing careers in finance is there a significant preference for one or the other?
Please someone in a similar situation or someone with sage advice help? Panicking!
... and the ones that won't
