I hold an offer for Business Studies. I have applied for accommodation at Victoria Hall, Richmond Hall and Burkhardt House. I come from Lincolnshire and Manchester is between a 2 hour - 2 hour 30 minute drive from where I live. I'm aware of a few people in my school who are going to Manchester but they are doing completely different courses to mine! I'm hoping I do get into Manchester because I just love the city and the university too but I'm not to confident with how some of my exams went and the entry requirements for the course are the same as my predicted grades (AAB) so there is little room for error and I'm not feeling confident! :frown:

Yeah I know but they will most likely accept people who have firmed/insured them who achieve BBB then, I was hoping manchester might announce theirs and advertise AAB or something...

Hopefully! That'd be nice.
I have Liverpool as my insurance so it's reassuring back up if things go horribly wrong.

Literally crossing my fingers as manchester is better connected to city law firms so more beneficial for me! That's good, liverpool is a great university to and I would be more than happy to go there  which course have you applied for?
I hold an offer for Children's Nursing and have applied for Richmond Park,Oak House and Sheyvn House but hoping to get Richmond Park  I'm (hopefully) moving from Birmingham and don't know anybody else coming to UOM

American student here, got my results in my AP exams (our pseudo-equivalent of A-levels) last week, made the conditions of my offer in Biochemistry BSc! got my accommodation offer today also.
Does anybody know how lenient Manchester are on grades for nursing? I know it depends on the year but in general?

Hello I've got an unconditional offer to study Pharmacy! I haven't gotten my accommodation offer yet so I don't know where I'll end up staying.

So excited!!
Hi! I'm confirmed on the Undergrad Business Management course at MBS starting this September. Just received my offer for accommodation at Canterbury court. Anyone going to be there? It'll be great to talk to a couple people before getting there!

Lucyanne1996, 'Business Studies', do you mean 'Management' at MBS? If so, have you chosen a specialism?
I currently hold an unconditional offer to study 'Bsc (Hons) Management (Marketing)' with AAA.

Unconditional... so you already got your grades, or are you an offer magician?
I've got an unconditional offer for Medicine with a foundation year and I've just accepted my accommodation offer for Whitworth Park. I'm only moving from about 45 minutes away but I'm still really excited for September!
Found my email about accommodation, and it turns out I applied for Richmond Park (this seems, unsurprisingly, very popular), Sheavyn House and Dalton Ellis (though I've decided now that I'd rather be on Fallowfield, so that choice might come back to bite me in the arse).

Also, it seems (anecdotally) that people with offers that are already unconditional are getting places in their first choice of accommodation. Bit of a disadvantage for the rest of us, then.

Awesome! We'll probably get to know each other very well since there's only 20 places on our course. :h:
