OK so I've just finished my telephone interview and I've been invited to the final stage of the assessment which is the sales pitch, role play and interview.

The products I can do a sales pitch on are:
    Shuttle to Mars
    Virtual Pet
    Meal Pill

I'm thinking of doing the Shuttle to Mars sales pitch but I don't really have a lot of experience in selling ideas.

Has anyone had this interview before and if so, what was it like? Any tips for me?

    Thanks in advance

Not that I've been through the interview process before, but I might be able to help a little bit.

I believe they're looking at how well you can convey your points across in how you would sell something: what ideas you can come up with? How would you say it to the client? would you state any negatives?

Personally, I'd pick the Meal Pill, but then that's just me.

You'll have to think about how your product/service fills a hole in the market, and how it'll gain you money. You'll also need to match the price tag to the service and also the consumer - i.e. you wouldn't sell an ironing board at a retail price of £200.

Just state the benefits of the product and why the consumer must simply have it. Be enthusiastic, calm, confident, whilst not overbearingly cocky. You should be alright
