Hey there guys, I'm currently a second year Mechanical Engineering student (expecting to graduate in 2015).

I'm wondering how tough would it be to study in a taught Masters Pharmacology programme and get a good grade?
I am currently doing a summer research programme in my University's Medical School in the Pharmacology lab. There's not much I do except for performing one of the Professor's experiments for him (putting the rats in the experiment, feeding them, data recording and analysis). This doesn't really help me in getting a taste of the theory I will be learning in lectures so I would really like some input from all you Pharmacologists out there!

I know that Mechanical Engineering has no relation whatsoever with Pharmacology except maybe some Maths I assume. I would like to know if it is possible to be able to follow the course along with other students who have done a Bachelors in Pharmacy, Pharmacology or any other Biology related subject. Also, how difficult would it be for me if it's even possible.

I have almost no knowledge of any Biomedical Science if that helps. I have achieved a 2:1 in my first and second year, which is good because a 2:1 minimum is required for most Masters courses.

Thanks for reading my entry and I would really appreciate your input!
