Right so I finally got my results for my Foundation Year, and as expected I've failed. It's a long story which isn't really worth telling in in full, but I went to Uni in the North, got attacked by an ex-neighbour, bullied by a large group of people, and fell into deep depression, sleep deprivation and colossal social anxiety.

I sent the Uni I was at an appeal, but I doubt it'll help.

Now ... my A level grades were half decent: I got an A in French, a B in Spanish and a D in Chemistry (surprised myself). I think this adds up to 280 UCAS points (right?).

I would like to study Criminology at the University of West London (first choice), but I will have to apply through clearing ( ) ....

I remember last year when I applied to West London when it wasn't my first choice, I got an unconditional offer - maybe this round could be the same(?).

Any advice on what to do? ... is it too late? OR is it worth a try?

Firstly, I am so sorry you got attacked and bullied, it must’ve been horrible Remember the people that did that to you are a bunch of low lives that are looking to get a rise out of others! I hope you’re feeling better!!! Stay confident and remember to walk with your chin up like you’re the baddest ***** around. Sending you virtual air hugs!!!! <3

Second, never doubt! You never know, you might get the answer you were looking for!

Third: Go for it. Apply as soon as you can and it is never too late for anything. Take me for example, I’m also going to study criminology but with sociology too and I thought I had no chance in hell that I’d be accepted into universities such as Leeds and Manchester, but I still applied cause ya know yolo lol , and got in. So you never know. Think positive thoughts (and I’m not just trying to feed you philosophical crap but really thinking positively will really help even when you feel like you’re carrying the world on your shoulders!) I believe in you 100% that you have a chance but you’ll never know unless you try!! I wish you the very best and good luck!!!!
