Linux BTSync package crashing without output Watch

    I've tried posting on their support forums but had no luck there. I'm running this package on my Pi (raspbian) which runs a daemon service as root. Every day or so, however, the process exits and my other computers lose access to the Pi. This is the content of /var/log/messages

    Sorry that TSR's forum software strips out all the line breaks.

    Can anyone tell from this what is causing the process to terminate? At the moment daily reboots are the only thing I can do about this. I have run apt-get update and apt-get upgrade.

    Use something else. Those packages aren't compatible with ARM devices.

    Oh, that makes sense. It worked for several months, but I suppose that was just coincidence if it's not officially supported. The problem with using binaries is every time an update is pushed (read: I SSH in and copy the update onto the Pi) it has to build my folder index from scratch, which takes a day at best.

    I imagine it was all coincidence as he states that he has no way to test the packages on ARM devices because he does not have one.

    I can take a look if you fix the line breaks somehow, or paste it somewhere that preserves line breaks.

    finally isolated the cause. I run btsync on a Raspberry Pi (Debian) and all
    my sync folders are all located on a NAS drive which is connected to it.
    When the drive is inactive, it spins down to a kind of 'sleep mode'. When a
    computer requests access, it spins up again.

    Every time it spins down, which is often several times a day, my BitTorrent
    Sync installation crashes and disappears from the process list.
    Unfortunately I haven't been able to get a debug log but hopefully you have
    enough information here to replicate the issue. The NAS drive is located in
    Debian's /mnt/ folder, and the Pi has no trouble coping with the drive
    going offline and then online again - it does not become unmounted during
    this period. This is the first version of btsync that has had this issue,
    and I am using the latest version. I hope you can get this fixed quickly.

    I've reinstalled the package and tried to reproduce the bug, and it hasn't come back. Hopefully it'll stay away so I can keep using the package.
