I'm a feminist and I have a degree in Viking studies. Thor was not a woman nor are women pressing for Thor to be represented as a woman. There are more than enough awesome female norse gods to choose from already, thank you very much. As for the movies, source or you're making it all up.

It breaks the literary ideas that Thor represents as a God..but comic books aren't real literature so I'm not too bothered tbh.
