My firm choice is the only university i want to go to at all really and i dont see myself going anywhere else. i know i should still prepare for clearing etc but when looking at other unis i couldnt see myself going.

You don't want to go anywhere but your firm and you're confident you've met or exceeded your offer. You don't need to do anything.

If nowhere else appeals to you then you aren't going to be forced to apply somewhere else if your results are worse than expected. It would probably make more sense to retake you exams and reapply with a gap year in that case.

you don't want to look at adjustment, you don't want to do clearing so if you were wrong about your grades you would presumably resit and reapply. So all you need is to have thought about how to do that. Colleges/schools normally require you to do 3 courses for their funding requirements - so if you just needed one resit would you get a job and study independently or return to college and pick up some extra courses? Would you be able to find a job/ carry on with one you already have? Would you feel left behind and develop a last minute desire to do clearing anyway?
