    Hello,
I have some questions regarding getting the UK Driving Licence. I am a Dutch citizen who has been studying here in London since now 7 months.
I do not have any driving licence and I am looking to pass my driving licence here. So far what I found is that for International student you are
allowed to apply for a provisional licence once you have been staying in the country for atleast 185 days which is my case. But how to apply for the provisional licence ? Can I apply online or should I apply by mail using the D1 application form ? Also it is said that I need proof of residency in UK of atleast 6 months but what should I send them to prove it ? The only thing I have is the lease contract but no bill since I have a roommate who has all bills at his name. Also it requests National Insurance number ?
If any international student who went through the whole process can please explain how he did it and how long it took.
    Thank you.
