Hey guys, recently i decided that i want to drop out of university cus I really dont enjoy the course I am doing, which is pharmacy at medway school of pharmacy....well i think i have no other choice to drop out cus i failed three out of four exams, and i really dont think that i can pass the resits in august.

My story is that I always wanted to do zoology or computer science something related with animals or gaming/software/maths, but after much emotional, heavily mentally daunting fights with both my parents, despite my sisters support, in the end, i entered pharmacy at medway school of pharmacy. As soon as i began my course, i never once enjoyed it, really. I hated every topic we learnt in it.
Anyway, i failed my exams, and i wish to reapply to enter uni in 2015. I managed to achieve 3 B's in A level, mathematics, biology and chemistry. My parents think I'm already a failure, they've given up on me, they say that my A levels are **** and so they think that I have no chance in re-applying, is that true? Give me your honest opinion guys. Is three B's good enough for re-applying or not?

always go with what you are passionate about not what will get you a job. even if you had 3 GCSE at grade B if zoology is your passion you can follow the animal care / welfare route. Nobody fails at anything they just decided to stop trying and give up. does who keep trying are never failures. Talk to your parents they will always want to help you even though it might not seem like it

Of course you have a chance at re-applying - 3 Bs will easily get you a place on a zoology or computer science course.

Your parents are worried - because parents do worry - that you will not have a decent career. They have mentally mapped out your future - career, marriage, children in that order and you have derailed that.

You can get a really good job - especially if you do computer science - don't know much about zoology.

I would take a gap year. Do an application for 2015 and then have a brilliant time for the next 12 months.

Your parents will have to bite the bullet and they may not support you - be prepared for theta. Tell them that you want to do computer science - give them a list of jobs that you could get and your earnings. You could easily work abroad - although they may not like this.

If you are so miserable in pharmacy there is no point in carrying on - and what a waste of another £9000 that would be.

What are your long terms plans on life? Zoology is a,long hard route but you don't have to be academic so you are definiteley in with a shot. You could get onto a lot of zoology courses with BBB. Not sure about computer science though.
