I got an unconditional offer from Cardiff Met and when I got all excited I a saw that it took 260 points then I had a definite place. Is this right? 260 is the required grade if I weren't doing a foundation year, but I am. It said 120 points is the minimum. I'm not sure if this is the norm and I'm just dumb, or it's a thing I've missed but can someone tell me if this is right?

    Thanks in advance

An unconditional offer means the offer has NO conditions. It means whatever qualifications you already have are accepted as enough.

If your offer is asking for 260 tariff points then it is a CONDITIONAL offer (ie there are conditions you still need to meet). If you have a conditional offer of 260 but aren't going to be able to meet that offer with your current qualifications then contact the uni ASAP to explain this.
