Interest free of course. If you don't know but you have an account yourself, how much was your limit?

HSBC allow you to access an overdraft of up to £3,000 free of interest. Plus £500 guaranteed at account opening.

And! A £60 Amazon gift certificate :woo:

It's worth noting that all the banks have not fully released their figures for the coming year so there's no telling who will offer the largest overdraft yet.

You can find last year's offerings on savethestudent or moneysavingexpert though.

I had a 'session' with HSBC a couple weeks back, as I currently hold an account with them. Following that received a letter in the post outlining everything on offer.

    I'd just call around

Some do release their details early but some don't.

I only know because I've written breakdown guides on the student bank accounts every year since 2010.
