Which one gives more kudos in your opinion?

Bearing in mind it's a private boat/rooftop. Not a party within a public space.

Boat, but you will surely have more than one party in your life, so try both. Variety, as ever, is the spice of life.

Rooftop. There is always at least one weirdo who gets sea sick and ruins boat parties for everyone else.

Rooftop. What's the benefit of a boat? "Whooo, it's a party with an organised start and end time, and no one can leave in between!"

Rooftop. A lot of people would get sea sick on the boat and puke before they even had a drink in them.

It depends. If the boat is moving then you'll get a bit more wind chill and water typically has a cooling effect on its surroundings.

I'd go to neither personally because I'm afraid of heights and I can't swim. But I'd say go for the boat. At least there'd be more people around to try and save a drunken person who's fallen in the water, compared to someone who's fallen off of the roof haha.
