    Hi,

I've recently got my results back from my college BTEC course which said I had 200 UCAS points. In order to get into the university course I need 240 points so I have obviously failed to get in. The original amount of points I needed to get in was 300 but they lowered it for me for some reason.

So as I thought I'm not going to get in, I stopped my student finance and the accommodation as you would. However, today I have got an email from UCAS saying the university has confirmed my place so now I am utterly confused.

Have I been accepted into the university even though I blatantly don't have enough UCAS points to get in?

    Thank you

Some universities are lenient if you just miss the conditions of their offer, so yes it would seem that you've gotten your place. If you're really unsure or anything then you could just give them a call to confirm it.
