I know how essential it is to get work experience in order to get into medicine. I've done continuous work experience at UCH. Is it still necessary to do work experience at a GP? My summer is restricted, and so I'm not sure if I'll be able to do much work experience Will I be at a disadvantage if I don't do work experience at a GP?

With medicine, the more work experience you get the better your application looks. Provided you have some experience, you won't be automatically rejected, but if you have the opportunity for more - even if it's inconvenient - you should always take it.
