I am currently studying a BTEC Level 3 in Engineering and I've worked out my grades and I'll most likely get 240 UCAS points - the university course that I would like to do requires 280 UCAS or good grade attainment in maths at level 3.
Could I still get onto the course if I have a good personal statement and impress at the interview?

Yes, you may get offers but don't set your heart on it there's always clearing

Universities have full autonomy on admission criteria; you may still get in.
Best thing to do is email the faculty admissions tutor to ask how they approach such circumstance.
Best of luck!
