Every time I log into LinkedIn on the computer (windows xp - using Google chrome as my broswer) Linkedin displays in this way. Other websites I use e.g. tsr, youtube etc display in the normal way so I'm wondering why it is onyl for linkedin that it is displaying like this.

On my laptop (windows with google chrome broswer) it displays in the right way but I don't have access to my laptop at the moment so I can only use my computer.

Can anyone help me i.e. how do I get it to display properly. Will certainly give rep (if that encourages you loool :perv: )

I have not had that problem but I think it might be the cookies.
Or try to log on through https

You could try doing a hard refresh, think it's CTRL-F5 or F11 (would have to double-check but Google is your friend).

If they are disabled enable them and disable them if they are enabled

    oh dear..not at work!

it was strange when I access that page I realised in Chrome there is a little red padlock that appears so I clicked on that and that enabled me to allow cookies and I also changed all the permissions (because when you click on the padlock a small thing appears which shows a list of permissions) and for each option I clicked 'allow for this site' then at the top a grey thing appeared saying "the permissions for this site has been changed click reload to relod the page" so I did that and the page reloaded and hey presto the thing worked
