Hi, I was recently awarded Home Status by one of my university choices. I have not lived in the UK, but have maintained a relevant connection over the years - with a family home that I stay in/frequent visits. Because of this am I eligible for Student Finance? Thanks in advance!

In order to be assessed as a home student you would normally need to be resident in the UK for 3 years prior to the start of your course. Where you have been outside of the UK for the three years prior you would need to provide evidence of a temporary break in residency. Such as a temporary work contract overseas.
