    Dear all,

I will be studying in Hull this year, I have already studied a year in Amsterdam in which I had student accommodation which had just about no rules or regulations. After having read the contract for the Taylor flats, I am thinking the halls seem pretty much prison like! Can someone please explain in more depth things such as as how involved the "warden/tutors" are in your daily life and if there purpose is somewhat similar to babysitting or smthg? (seems strange as we are adults...). Are they serious about having to ask the warden everytime you want someone to stay over night in your room? (basically if you bring a girl back? or have a guest from abroad?)
