A text i recieved.

Basicaly i woke this morning with a text from my ex (we broke up last thrusday but still friends) anyway he went to scotland for a week on sat so i havent spoken to him since Friday,
So he text this morning, i text back,
*All he can think about after a night out when laying in bed is hugging/cuddling me, he cant stop thinking about it*

I think its a uncomftable text message to reply to, what do i put back to it?

Yeah im sorry this is such a stupid thread but i just dont know what to say.

I presume you have no intention of getting back together? Then don't reply at all.

If you want to be with him, say so. If you don't say that although you like him you cannot go through it again. That way (although possibly a lie) it will spare his feelings.

Are you certain you want to reply to it at all?

If you do though, you could go with something like "that's nice if a bit late".

I would like to get back with him, but we cant get back together, we never have time to see each other coz when i work, hes not, and when he is, im not. so we cant get back together because of that reason, we would never see each other.

Yeah it is better not to reply to it but if you want to then you should do one of the above things.

Then tell him you're missing him too, but if it's going to lead to more uncomfortable texts I wouldn't reply.

No it wasnt actualy. He had 2months off work, so i got to see him everyday near enough, then he got a new job n thats where it started getting tough.

It's not just a missing you text, It's a I miss being with you, want you back. Could you really not see eachother at all? Was there not even once aweek you could meet up?

My boyfriend works full time 5 days aweek (mon-fri) I was untill the holidays a student with a weekend and evening job. Therefore I couldn't see him while he worked or at weekends, but we made it work. Maybe you could do the same?
