I'm currently doing my AS levels in college (ICT, Business Studies and English Lang/lit) and I've been to a few university open days like Cardiff and I'm interested in the Business course which they do, but I have loads of friends who know exactly what they're doing like one is going into Dentistry and does a lot of work experience in dental practices which is going to look great on his application. But I don't know what I could do for Business? Does anyone have any ideas of what work experience I could do?

Ask your parents and their family and friends whether you could go with each of them to work one day. You'll get exposure to all sorts of businesses over the summer, and will look like you've got a bit of initiative for organising it all.

Look, for anything outside of dentistry, (veterinary) medicine or top flight unis such as oxbridge, work experience isn't essential. Sure, it helps, but you can get onto a course just fine without it.
Dental work experience doesn't just 'look great' on the PS, without it, you'll not be considered for the course. Take veterinary med. as an example, you need experience on a farm, in a surgery and a few other things as well. People don't do these things to enhance their CV, they do it to actually get on to the course.
For business studies, merely talking about future career plans should get you onto the course. What they want to see is things that are transferable, did you play sports for example? Did it make you a better team player? Would that experience help you in working as part of a team in a business?
Maybe you read a book on stocks and shares and want to turn that knowledge into a professional skill.
etc etc etc
Don't stress over work experience. Sure, try get something in an accountants office or something...anything, but it won't be 100% necessary.
