If you are looking for a room in Lancaster for Lancaster/Cumbria uni in the 2014/2015 academic year, look no further. I'm looking for someone to take a room in a very modern flat less than 5 minutes walk from the city centre.

Here's a quick summary if you don't fancy a long read:

    • Close to town centre, bus stop, train station, corner shop, park
    • The flat: Victorian house, ground floor flat with a very modern interior, double bedrooms, great views, modern kitchen
    • Price: £85 a week, including bills, internet and wifi, tv license, cleaner, free onsite parking

Flat D, Victoria House, Regent Street, LA1 1SG

The flat itself is, like I said, very modern, with 5 double bedrooms and the world's most sophisticated shower/bathroom.

There is also free parking for residents if you drive, and a bus stop just across the street if you don't.

The flat is also very close to both the city centre and the train station, and if you don't even want to walk that far there is a shop on the corner of the street.

The flat is on the ground floor of a Victorian house which will be home to other students living in the other flats in the house, and if you know the area you will know that there are countless student houses and flats on and around that road.

As well as being close to the town, the flat also overlooks a gorgeous park with fantastic views from the kitchen and bedrooms.

The rent is £85/week/person for 46 weeks, and it includes: water, gas, electric, tv license, wireless broadband with unlimited downloads, regular cleaner, boiler cover, day to day repairs and individual contents insurance. It is let via LUSU Living, so you can be certain of good, safe and reliable service suitable for students.

As I mentioned before, there will already be 4 female students about to move in for their second year at Lancaster uni, 3 of them studying Theatre Studies, Spanish and Psychology, English Literature and History (I'm afraid I don't know what the fourth is studying). They're all very friendly and welcoming

Basically, it's a really good deal and a great way to meet new people - even if your new flatmates aren't your best buds, there will be loads of other students living in that house as well as in the area.
