I want to apply for Nottingham, Manchester, Liverpool John Moores, Birmingham possibly.
I have done lots of work experience etc but I am so worried about the interview process.
I do not take maths and I hear you are assessed on mental maths/dosage and situational questions/ use/reasoning's on meds.
If anyone has had an interview for Pharamcy, I would love any tips/ to hear any questions you were asked.
I desperately want to go into Pharmacy so I hope the interview process wont stop me lol

I applied to Birmingham and Nottingham At Birmingham they just gave me a card with a drug calculation on, it was very basic maths, just ratios and stuff (like if the dose is __ mg per kg how much would you give a 60kg person) and you get a calculator and paper to do your working on. At Nottingham there was no calculator, just a sheet with a lot of mixed calculations, some drug calculations, some multiplications and things, you only get 5 minutes so just quickly do the ones you can first then try the harder ones. I didn't do maths either, I'm really bad at it to be honest
And I just realised when i replied on your other thread about books, I forgot about the one that did really help me, one called drug calculations for nurses. It's really easy to understand and goes through a lot of stuff you might be asked math questions on, lots of practice questions too
