I am just looking for some advice on regards to teacher training in Wales.
I am a mature student 25 years old, I want to go into teaching & I am going to re sit my maths this year to obtain my B grade, I have a degree (2:2) in BA Education, but I am really unsure of what route to go down.
ive read over a few different routes available for teaching but unsure what is the best in order to get onto a teaching programme within Wales.
has any one got any experience or advice to share please? Thank you

I have gained a place in Swansea met pgce for this year so maybe I can help. I found that applying in wales was harder as for my course I needed 2.1 minimum plus b gcse in maths and English compared to when I applied to English universities they only wanted 2.2 min and c for maths and English.
The good news about applying in wales is that you don't have to do the skills tests ! Though you do have to sit a little test at interview.
The bad news is that there is only the pgce route, not scitt or school direct. I also found it competitive as there were only two places in wales that did my subject.
