Calling all people in Cardiff!!!!!!!!!!!!

So hey guys! My boyfriend goes on holiday on Sunday for 10 days and the day he comes home is the day I go on holiday for 3 weeks so we won't see each other for over a month! I recently found out he's interested in old war things (museums and stuff) so basically I know there is Cardiff Museum but are there any other places I can take him as a suprise that is super cheap!?? As I'm skint!

Or would you be fine going around Cardiff Museum?? (never been there both of us before)

Thankyou!
When you say wars is that specifically WWI and WWII. Cardiff museum is great but doesn't cover anything that recent, it's mainly art and natural history.
I can't think of anything just war related that's free but St. Fagins is really interesting. There's a 16th century manor house plus gardens. In the grounds there are loads of original buildings that have been re-erected and you can go in and see how they would have been. Some of the workshops have craftsmen in making stuff with the same techniques that would've been used in the past. Think they have buildings from the 1500s-1900s. Plus you only have to pay parking. I've been a couple of times now and it's really good.

There's a place in Carmarthen called the Tin Shed Experience that sounds like the perfect place to take him. It's a little bit out of Cardiff though!
