    Hey guys, so, whats the deal with having a tv in a standard room?
    Can you bring one? Bring an aerial? TV License?

    I was told that everyone is welcome to bring one, but you still require your own TV license.
    Instead they suggested watching everything online, as if you watch it using catchup websites like BBC iPlayer you do not need a license.

    You can bring your own tv, but you need your own aerial and if you want to watch live tv, you need to get a license. I suppose it's only worth the money if you watch tv a lot or if you have games consoles, since you don't need a license for catch up
