Maybe he was trying to escape reality. Reality for him being his face with no edges.

yeah, i cry conspiracy theory!!!!

record company's trying to get them cred in the post-doherty guitar-pop environment!

that or strong coffee was too hardcore for that public school titwank

Judging by the average Keane song, I'd hazard a guess that the drugs in question are mogadon, valium, and some kind of powerful donkey tranquiliser.

interesting that they are doing that seeing as keane don't use a guitar:rolleyes:

I saw him at V Festival and me and my friend both commented that he looked like he'd lost a bit of weight and was looking rather gaunt and worn down.

Now we know why...

Reply 8

It looks like he might be backlashing against himself and Keane's reputation. They've built up a persona as a trio of polite public-school boys. This news comes not too long after Tom Chaplin announced his favourite biscuit was the caramel digestive (groan).

More shocked that craig charles is addicted to crack, (yeah I only found out today, I'm behind the times)

hehe, keane, what a silly band.

Next big news will be about Chris Martin's love of human meat or something.

isn't there any guitar in their new album? I've only heard the main single, i've forgotten what it's called, but it sounded vaguely U2-ish, and I could've sworn i heard guitars.

They used guitar effects on their keyboards.

I'm probably the only person I know who isn't shocked by this at all. There was an article in a Q magazine once and said something about how they used to drink loads on the tour bus. Though I didn't know about the cocaine thing.

But what's more shocking is that he's gone to state that two of his hugest influences are Massive Attack and.....Aphex Twin

Wow.

They're amazing live but I wasn't impressed with his tirade against Blair when explaining "Is It Any Wonder?". What a ****!
