    im going to Lebanon soon and i want to take my phone with me. im on contract with EE on an iphone 4 so i know if i use it there itll cost a fortune. my phones unlocked so could i get a pay as you go sim card and top it up loads and use it there? which companies have sim cards that work in lebanon? how much will i need to top up so i can use the internet and text regluarly?

    I disagree I've just come back from holiday I have iPhone 5s and EE and it was brilliant

    what did you do to be able to use it abroad

    Just make sure data roaming is switched on on your phone
    If your texting/calling you'll need to replace the first 0 of someone's number with 0044 or +44
    But that's the same with any provider
