I'm a 24 year old man, the only reading I ever do is reading websites/newspapers/magazines/information books.
Its been a very long time since I ready a novel, especially fiction.
The last novels I did read were biographies.
The last time I read fiction was because I had to ie at school.
I'm starting to wonder if I am missing out by not reading fiction.
What am I missing out on by not reading fiction?
Reading fiction is in large decline among young men- is this a bad thing?
What is the point of reading fiction, apart from for entertainment?

I think it really depends on you whether ure missing out or not. There are so many different genres in fiction that there has to be something you could really enjoy. But you may be more interested in fact or biographies or even the likes of magazines so depends on you:/
I think there is one main factor to decide if you're missing out or not, that would be your friend group. Say if your friends are reading and talking about something you dont understand then you would be missing out but if none of your friends read anything like that then you could be stuck into a book not being able to talk about cause no one you know likes it.
Apart from entertainment, people also use fiction to kind of escape, live in their own little world. I know i woud have no clue as to what i would do without my fiction worlds haha.
