I hope I'm posting this in the correct place. I have failed two of my modules in my first year at university and although they haven't confirmed anything I do believe they will make me do these next year as a repeat year rather than in my second year.

I know they only allow you one gift year and they will pay your tuition fees for that year but what happens in regards to the student loan and grant that I would usually receive. Will I still receive these or won't i get them as technically I would be studying part time. However my actual course is full time.

I did try looking for the answer to this but I couldn't find anything specific.

    Thanks,
    Brett

    Hi Brett,

your gift year of funding entitles you to full support for your course when repeating as its still classed as a full time course.

    Thanks

Thanks for the information. Still unsure with what will happen but at least I know now what will happen depending on the University's decision.

    Again thank you,
    Brett
