How old are you? Because I'm afraid that people in their 20s don't join social groups.

We've still yet to discover why 20 year olds don't join social clubs so I'm afraid you're on your own, mate.
Sports clubs? Are you at uni? Then maybe some societies and stuff

You should be fine at 19. Like I said, it only applies to people in their 20s.

yep!
at uni its grand

during summer its a different story

at canoeing its full of oldies..

and running is in solitude

going out with mates meeting the same people everytime doesnt usually lead to any newbies either

haha I used to do athletics

loved it!
but its a lot of solitary training

as much as I like it It takes a lot of dedication and I need a more social sport

Im from a rural enough area so only very popular sports attract people my age so not so many people p

I guess it does depend on your event too, I used to gossip in between sprints and I met quite a few nice people

Hmm I see I guess being from a rural area isn't exactly helpful
Badminton? I joined a club many years ago and I met plenty of people but I didn't really get anywhere because it was before I was cool

good idea! might actually try that

although again it seems to be school students or 40 year olds ...

maybe going out with mates is the only way..:?

tbh I don't really know what people my/your/our age do so I can't help you, but at my club there were 2 classes, one was for people my age (I was 16 at the time lol) and then the pro class had slightly older people as well as adults, so there was a mixture sort of.

Maybe there is a particular sport that would attract people in the age range you are looking for?

What about music?
