    Hi all,

I have seen this on Die Hard , but never actually found the answer:

You have a five-gallon jug and a three-gallon jug. You must obtain exactly four gallons of water. How will you do it?

Fill the 5 gallon jug, empty into the 3 gallon jug. You have 2 gallons left in the 5 gallon jug. Empty out the 3 gallon jug, and pour the 2 gallons into the 3 gallon jug. Fill the entire 5 gallon jug, and pour into the 3 gallon jug (only 1 gallon will fit, leaving 4 gallons in the 5 gallon jug)
