    Hi,

I'm a student at the university of Leicester.

I'm going to start in september my 2nd year and I was wondering: would it be possible to add a chemistry module to the main course which is General Engineering for me ?

Basically I love chemistry and I would like to learn about it during my years at the uni.

    Thank you,

    Antoine

I think you need to ask this question to someone in your department. It's not uncommon for first year courses to offer some flexibility but STEM courses beyond that can be quite rigid and offer no room for extra modules. You may need extra approval from your department to take a module outside of your dept, if you can do it.

At worst - go find a lecture course that looks interesting and go to the lectures, if it's primarily for interest.
