Trauma of watching gore and lots of Horror movies when v. young Watch

    Ok, how can I clear the psycho and disturbing **** from my mind...

    You're gripping on to the negativity. The human mind has a taste for emotion, and will not let go easily.

    Trivial trauma from horror films and gore shouldn't still be haunting you. Remind yourself that this 'trauma' is actually fictional representation, used to give you a thrill. It's not trauma borne from real-world experiences, which I can tell you stay with you forever...but you move on, and focus on the positive aspects of your life. If I can do it, you most certainly can.

    It's all down to you - let go, it was in the past, and focus on the positive.

    A lot of times that doesn't really help. It's like phobias - yes, people know they are irrational fears (that's why they are phobias), but knowing that doesn't help.
