    Hello everyone!
I am currently a 4-year student in Moscow State University (BA, International relations) and plan to apply for a Master degree in Chinese Studies. I didn`t find a specific topic for Chinese Postgrad Studies so I decided to start the discussion.
How good are Oriental studies in Oxbridge, particularly, Chinese studies?
Anyone here with the same idea in mind? Which program did you choose?
What are the opinions about SOAS as well as Oxford/Cambridge?
I would also be very grateful for the feedback from those who studied it in Oxford/Cambridge previously.

    Many thanks,
    Yuliana

SOAS is one of the top Universities for Chinese Studies and because it is overall focus it has a unique international atmosphere. Its used by the British government (and many in Europe) to train staff and is a centre of excellence for all things Asian. This doesnt mean that other place are 'not as good' just that if you want to study current events/recent history and/or languages, this is probably a better bet than Oxford/Cambridge. And its in London.
