In light of a recent Daily Mail article, my friend wrote this blog about Luke McCormick.

Your reading of it (regardless of opinions) would be appreciated. Thank you.

I'm familiar with the case but not so much the details. As I see it he's been through the justice system and served what was deemed appropriate by a judge who's job it is to do such things. Forgiveness is available only on a person-person basis and completely down to people's temperament and attitudes to life, it's by no means guaranteed or deserved just because you served your sentence.

Essentially, he shouldn't be denied the chance to play football again as long as he's served his sentence. If you forgive him or not at a personal level is a matter of opinion and no one should tell anyone how to feel yano?

Yes. One ended the lives of two people, the other a rapist. Both knew what they were doing from what I read.
