Hi, I've recently been offered a job to work at my local pizza hut and they told me that once it's all been processed I would having to complete training. I was told I would have to come into the store for my normal shifts but come and sit at a computer and go through powerpoints and basically get a bunch of boring health and safety stuff looked over. I was told this would take about two weeks of 15 hours a week. Does it really take this long? And do you think this time would be paid? If not, this job would be a real waste of my time as I am going to university 6 weeks after I start and would have to leave until Christmas, so doing 2 weeks of unpaid training for 4 weeks of employment REALLY doesn't seem worth my time nor theirs!
