    Hi,

I used to speak to people on Whatsapp and Facebook a lot about a year ago, but I haven't really been using it since.

I want to speak to some people again but I don't want it to be awkward, i.e. 'Why is he speaking to me after a year?'

Do you actually know them or are they randoms?

No they are randoms... Of course I know them! They used to go to my college.

Why would I speaking to random people on Whatsapp? Awkward much

I think it was an understandable question. I still have people on whatsapp I don't speak to, or would consider randoms as I haven't spoken to them in years too.

Also the comment was I would presume Facebook as some many people no adays have over 300 friends who they don't know who who spoke to once when at a club, asking for a lighter outside the smoking area. Just speak to them if you want to, however, I don't see the point if it's gonna lead you back to square one - you not speaking to them for over a year from now!
