    Hi,

Unfortunately I have to resubmit two pieces of coursework to continue onto my third year, and I have a question about doing so. Will these pieces have to be completely re-written on a different topic/question, or can I just resubmit them as is? I ask because one of the pieces was handed in extremely late due to unforseen circumstances and I missed the deadline to fill in an extenuating circumstances form.

I know the process and regulations probably differ from university to university but was wondering if anybody had any answer at all.

    Thanks.

Usually if you have to resubmit at my uni, it's because you failed the piece, therefore it wouldn't be wise to resubmit the same piece of work. I would assume though, that any university would expect you to write a new piece of work otherwise they wouldn't ask you to resubmit. It's a waste of time for the markers for you to submit the same piece of work twice.
